I don't need exact numbers right now, but I'm on a diet and I ate something for dinner and I missed lunch and breakfast and I'm STARVING. I don't know what to eat so if I have an idea of how much calories I can have, I'll be able to feel better and eat something without guilt.

I ate less than 500 calories for sure...

For a sedentary person, 1500-1900 calories are recommended. For a moderately active person, 2000-2200. Athletes are supposed to have around 2300 to 3000 depending on the intensity and duration of their activities. Of course, there are some exceptions. One may only need 1400 while another may lose weight eating 2900 calories. Everything depends on your activity level and Basal metabolic rate.
